I removed the front and rear seats

Closer view of interior without seats.

We can see why the front seats were not reclining properly. The mounting of central hinge which both seats pivot on is torn up.

A view from the driver's side. Both of the hingers should be welded to the seat frame tube but have torn loose and moved.

Another close up of the damage. The steel tube is pretty messed up.

Front seats after frame repair. Nice and straight and they ratchet down.
